Two West Jordans, two kinds of work
West Jordan was built from east to west, and the plumbing follows the same pattern.
East side, toward Redwood Road. These neighborhoods went up mostly in the 1970s and 1980s. The homes are on their second or third water heater, and many are getting kitchens and bathrooms redone for the first time. Work here is mostly water heater replacement and remodel plumbing.
West side, toward the Oquirrhs. West of Bangerter Highway, and especially out past Mountain View Corridor, the homes are newer and new ones are still going up. Work here is new construction plumbing, basement finishes, and softeners added to the loop the builder left.
New construction in West Jordan
We plumb new homes for builders and for owners building their own. That means the underground before the slab, the rough-in through the framing, and the fixtures at the end. Send us the plans and you get a bid in 1–3 days.
Water heaters and softeners
West Jordan gets much of its water from the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, along with city wells. It is hard water. Over 10 or 12 years, scale builds up in a tank water heater until it rumbles, slows down and finally leaks.

Finishing the basement is the most common remodel in West Jordan. If your builder stubbed drains in under the slab, adding a bathroom is a simple job for us. If not, we cut the floor and run them. Either way, we do the rough-in before your framing is covered and come back to set the fixtures.
